I must say UHC has come a long way with their services. I've had them for almost 4 years and must say I'm impressed. In the beginning it was a bit rough knowing what providers were actually with the company as I never received a handbook with a listing. They could use some better health providers as some specialists aren't very knowledgeable on serious health issues. Once i upgraded it was smooth sailing. Customer service is awesome and they handle any problems you're having quickly. I was notified of someone trying to use my Medicaid transportation and was able to get that quickly settled. They call to do a health assessment to make sure you're taken care of. They have so much to offer their clients. If unable to move around on your own they help with getting you a caregiver. It's absolutely a company you don't want to sleep on. You could save tons with them cutting fees for doctor visits and more.No. stressing over high prescription costs. Even if you have to pay for a prescription its nothing major coming out of pocket. You pay nothing to just a few dollars for all prescriptions. You can't beat that not one bit. If looking to make a provider switch i would highly recommend giving them a call to see if the company suits you. This is a company you don't want to just pass up without checking them out.
Pros
I like that you can get medical transportation and the low prescription costs.
Cons
The only con about Uhc is choosing a provider as sometimes there listing is inaccurate. Also some doctors are very unprofessional and lack knowledge in their field of work.
